We believe that true happiness and lasting contentment are found in becoming a Christian and living a Christian life. The church's ministry is designed to help us develop and maintain a belief system and a personal lifestyle that will honor God and enrich our lives.
Bible Study (Sunday Morning - 10:00am)
Classes meet each Sunday and are staffed with capable and caring teachers. The Good News about Jesus Christ and the principle tenets of the Christian Faith are the building blocks of the curriculum. Each group is committed to exploring faith, embracing hope and expressing love.
Members and guests spend quality time together studying the Bible and just having fun. Each class also offers its own social activites and events each month. Bethel is an easy place to "fit in" and to develop lasting friendships. You can "come by yourself" or you can always invite your friends.
Crossroads Class (ages 18-29)
Community Class (ages 30-44)
Cornerstone Class (ages 45-up)
Upper Room (Wednesday Night - 7:00pm)
Upper Room is a midweek gathering at Bethel that will lift your spirit, strengthen your faith and expand your knowledge of the Bible. Each session is intended to help individuals dig deeper into God's Word and includes lively discussion and heartfelt prayer. The Lord's Supper is observed on the first Wednesday evening of every other month.
Elective Courses (Wednesday Night - 7:00pm)
Featured and specialized classes are offered throughout the year on Wednesday nights for those interested in short-term elective courses. This provides additional opportunities for personal learning and spiritual growth. The topical studies provide biblical insights and practical helps to some of the most challenging responsibilities, perplexing issues and intriguing questions and subjects facing men and women today.
For Men Only (3rd Saturday morning of each month)
A regular event on Bethel's monthly calendar is the Men's Breakfast at 9:00am. Men, young and old, gather for a hearty breakfast and a great time of fellowship. Current events are discussed, as well as topics and issues specifically relevent to men who are trying to build courage, character and committment in their lives. After a time of prayer, you are certain to leave with a satisfied appetite, fresh insight and a renewed sense of strength.
For Women Only
On a regular basis, the women of Bethel come together for Ladies Nite Out! Each event is upbeat, has a different theme and involves games, shared stories, laughter and sometimes tears.
Some events focus on reaching out our hands to others. Making valentines for senior citizens and putting together care packages for soldiers overseas or in military hospitals in the Central Texas area have been some of our most rewarding activities.
In this warm and friendly atmosphere we share our hopes and fears, our dreams and our prayers. Whether it's being there for each other or helping those we don't actually know, there's joy in loving one another and serving others. Join us and invite a friend to our next Ladies Nite Out!
